Other hectares of the vineyard are places in “Le Logge” area, in the southern area of the appellation. Only the best grapes are selected for this wine.

94 Wine Spectator, 93 Points James Suckling.

TASTING NOTES

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The aroma is complex with hints of fruit such as plum, blackcurrant and maraschino cherries, enriched with notes of sweet tobacco and chocolate. The taste is opulent with distinctive red fruit, balanced between freshness and plush tannins. An elegant and enduring wine imbued with intensely spiced notes. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barriques. Decant before drinking.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Italian meat dishes, slow cooked ragu and aged cheese.
