"La Masseria" Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo

Country: Italy  Region: Abruzzo

Varietal: Montepulciano Vintage: 2024

Category: Rose Style: Dry

Producer: Di Camillo Vini

Description:
This Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is made from Montepulciano grapes with short skin contact, giving it the characteristic cherry-red rosé colour and an intense aromatic profile. The grapes are grown in Abruzzo, where the combination of sunny days and cool nights helps to preserve the freshness of the fruit while allowing the grapes to reach optimal ripeness.

The wine is vinified with temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve the grape's natural fruit and aromatics. The result is a juicy, fruit-driven and harmonious rosé with good structure, a nice balance between freshness and body, and high drinkability.

Tasting notes:
Light ruby red with salmon hues. Intense fruity nose with notes of blueberries, blackcurrants, cherries and fresh red berries. The taste is fresh, aromatic and persistent with nice fruit depth, light minerality and a clean, juicy finish.

Food match:
Perfect as an aperitif and with fish, seafood, salads, light pasta dishes, pizza, light meat and summer dishes.
